Hi,

I first thank theatre Y for giving me the opportunity to join the acting workshop. The classes were so interesting and I felt as though the 50 hrs ended really soon! I was self conscious about acting in front of others, but theatre Y was the place where I broke out of that shell. The feedback that others gave me during each session was very useful to me and I was learning each and every day from their acting and their feedback. The best thing was that we were asked by Yog to always give positive feedback first before criticizing! It was so motivating, by the end of 2 hrs we were really in the mood and and it was hard to stiop after two hours! We were lucky when our sessions went on for 2 1/2 hours The freedom given to us to explore our thoughts, even if it was not nice to watch was wonderful. The individual improvisations were the areas where I was able to explore a lot. I think more sections could be concentrated, like we had the left hand going out of control and watching movies. The final group acting was the most difficult part where we got to concentrate more while acting and we didn't know when our co-actor would make a mistake! I enjoyed each and every day and I thank theatre Y once again, it gave me the confidence to act in front of anybody and helped me to improve my acting with the techniques taught. I started loving my classes and the days I missed the session I used to feel sad! I am actually so into it and I loved the and loved being a part of theatre Y.
Thanks theatre Y!
