This summer, theatre Y returns with plenty of fun-filled programmes for children.
Kicking off by proudly announcing our brand new programme:
storYlines – a 12-day workshop that introduces children to the world of writing and cartooning. storYlines aims to be the first step towards the concept of ‘Visual Representation’ of an individual’s imagination and fantasy. storYlines will encourage a variety of outputs from the children in the form of:
- Short stories
- Characters
- Cartoon strips
- Comic panels
Our second programme for the summer is the ever popular and favourite…
funtY – an activity and training workshop in theatre and creative writing for children.
The activity and training include
- Introduction to theatre
- Basics of acting
- Solo improvisations and group improvisations
- Story telling basics
- Introduction to creative writing
- Writing poems, stories, essays, journals, etc., and plenty more fun related to theatre and writing.
The summer batches for funtY and storYlines are as follows:
Age: 7 yrs – 15 yrs
Dates: April 18 – 30 and May 4 – 17
Timings: 10.30 am – 12.30 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm
